Are you afraid of your shoes fitting too tightly when you go out tonight? Here is a quick simple TIP to stretch them out a little.
Put on one or more pairs of thick slipper socks. Then put your shoes on. They will feel WAY to tight, but no worries, you won’t be standing in the too long! Then carefully apply heat with your hair dryer. The shoe fabric will heat up a bit and will allow the shoes to stretch. Keep the shoes on until they cool completely. Repeat if needed. I did this for a pair of shoes that I wore to a Christmas party. My daughter wanted to help, so I had her wear 3 pairs of thick slipper socks. We applied heat 3 times in a two hour period. That night, my shoes felt great!
* Note: This method is NOT meant to stretch shoes that are a half size or more too small.
